Way' Which means hello in Okanogan. My name is Kim and I have been a CDP since 2001. I have returned to the Skagit Valley area after living in the Okanogan/Omak area. I recently worked with the Colville Confederated tribes as a CDP in their outpatient program for the past 3 years. I experienced not 1, but 2 forest fires within a 1 year timespan. One of those was called the worst fire in state history. Unfortunately, I was evacuated and lost my home. What I have learned from losing everything is no matter what happens in life, one will persevere. Over the years, I have worked in various programs including detox and inpatient. I have also worked in the correctional setting. I received my AA degree in 1999 at Wenatchee Valley College in Chemical Dependency Studies.
