Problem Gambling

Problem Gambling is a relapsing condition that continues to progress if left untreated. Often problem gamblers do not realize the devastation their disorder is causing until they have lost everything. Problem gamblers often have a co-occurring mental health condition that underlies the gambling problem. Therapy includes money management strategies, motivational interviewing and social support group attendance. Treatment is supported by the Washington State Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse and is provided by certified Gambling Specialist, Rachel Adams, CDP and Sarah Griffin, CDP. Problem Gambling services include individual, group, and family counseling. Most gambling patients qualify for full coverage of treatment through Washington State.
